Privacy

During registration you are required to enter your email address. We understand that privacy is important to you. We do not intendedly disclose your email to anyone who is not a registered user of Rentalore. To facilitate the rental process, we do share your email with other users in the following circumstances:

• When you as a renter respond to a posting
• When you send another user a message
• When you as an owner accept a reservation (but NOT when you decline a reservation)

It is important to understand, that just creating a posting on Rentalore will not compromise your email address. Only when you accept a reservation, your email shall be shared with the renter. Furthermore, we maintain a strict "No-Spam" policy. You agree not to "spam" other users. Rentalore will only use your email to contact you in the following circumstances:

• When a renter responds to your posting
• When a user sends you a message
• When an owner accepts or declines your reservation
• When a user (owners and renters) ends a transaction
• When your reservation was automatically deleted (because the owner didn't respond)
• When a rental period starts and ends
• When you receive a new password
• On rare occasions, we might send you important information about Rentalore.

If you do not wish to receive these emails, you may delete your account at any time. When creating a posting on Rentalore, you may enter an address of where the item is located, usually your home address. We do not share that address with other users, unless you request it when accepting a reservation. However, we do show the approximate location on a map.

Content

Rentalore is only establishing contact between the owner (the person or company renting out an item or selling a service) and the renter (the person or company renting an item or buying a service). Rentalore is currently not involved in the actual transaction between owners and renters. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any content. All postings including text, images or any other materials posted on Rentalore are the sole responsibility of the user. Rentalore is not responsible for:

• The quality or legality of the listed items or services
• The truth of the item or service description
• The safety of the listed items.
• Withheld deposits or rental fees
• Theft of items before, during, and after the rental period
• Damaged items
• Any harm or loss the listed item, service, or transaction process may cause.

Rentalore does not pre-screen every posting, but we reserve the right to remove or modify any content.

Identity

Rentalore does not verify the identity of the users. It is your responsibility to verify the identity of the other users before the actual transaction begins. It is recommended both the renter and the owner present their driver's licenses or another valid document of identification before any exchange takes place. You agree not to use false identities or impersonate any other person. Rentalore provides a basic password protection of each user account. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security/confidentiality of your password. You agree not to use the account, username, or password of another user without permission. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your account. Rentalore has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of any service controlled by Rentalore.

Intellectual Property Right

Please respect the rights of artists and creators. Do not upload, post, email or transmit copyrighted content. People appearing in content may have a right to control use of their image. You may not post or upload other people's content unless you own the rights or have permission from the owner.
The Rentalore web site is protected by international laws of copyright.
